mmmm Pot Roast. I have recently begun using my crockpot for cooking, tonight I'm very glad I made that decision.

, skin-in mashed potatoes, roast juices mixed with saute'd mushrooms and onions for gravy, toast (3 Cheese Semolina, from Shaws), and a lovely beer (Weihenstephaner). You'll note that no knife was required :D
(please forgive the shitty photo; I'd take another one but I ate it already)
So Oppo, what are you having for dinner?

Making omelettes. Brown the sausage with mushrooms mixed in, cut up green onions and tomatoes, eggs to follow, and everything goes inside, along with cheddar cheese.

Buffalo chicken sandwiches and sweet potato fries. I had a little leftover buffalo sauce, buttermilk to marinate the chicken and make blue cheese dressing with and some pretzel buns in the freezer. I only had to buy blue cheese, chicken breasts and sweet potatoes. They were quite delicious and went perfectly with a Lagunitas IPA.

I've been using a recipe that doesn't require much mechanical intervention because we only have hands in our kitchen. Some day I'll have a Kitchenaid with a dough hook and everything will be perfect :)
I do like the extra time it takes for the dough. It allows for more simmer time on the sauce
